I know all you mommies out there have the cutest kiddos in the world, so why not accessorize them with the cutest winterware this season? My sister-in-law Toni is the most talented knitter/crocheter I've ever met and she is willing to personalize a hat/mitten set for the winner of my first giveaway! (Even if you don't have your own kids, this hat/mitten set would make an awesome Christmas present for a little person in your life!)
All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment telling me which of the four patterns you like best, the colors you would like her to use and the age of your child. She will create a coordinating pair of mittens based on your color choices! (If this will be for a baby or toddler, please specify if you want your mittens connected by a yarn chain that will run through the arms of the coat so you don't lose the mittens. You know what I mean, right?)
For BONUS ENTRIES, become a follower of this blog. If you're already a follower, you'll automatically get an extra entry, but you still have to leave a comment so that I know you want to enter this giveaway.
You can get another bonus entry by linking to this giveaway on your blog. You'll have to leave a note in your comment with the address of your blog so I can visit you too.
As an added incentive to get the word out about this blog, if I get 30 followers through this giveaway, everyone who enters will get DOUBLE the number of entries that they earned! That means that if you leave a comment and become a follower, you'll get FOUR entries instead of two. If you leave a comment, become a follower and link to your blog, you'll get SIX entries instead of three. But you have to get the word out about the blog... so get to work! : )
Here are the adorable patterns to choose from... and remember, Toni can customize the colors and size based on your child.
You have until SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18 to enter this contest. The winner will be chosen on October 19. Good Luck!!

The bunny is absolutely adorable. It should come with a little cotton tail you can put on their pants. I also like the acorn. What a fun idea.
OH man! So cute! I'm such a sucker for ear flaps so the Simple LIfe and the Hunter are my favs! :)
i've always coveted #1 all orange and green like a little pumpkin, but i think my fave here is the hunter with those little buttons. hunter green/cream/12 mo. adorable!
i follow ya:)
New follower!
I'm lovin' the bunny! Since my child is only about 15 weeks (gestation) I'd be looking forward to putting this adorable hat on him/her next fall. :-)
Well I think Sam would look adorable in the hunter...in the brown tones she shows in the picture. Probably 24mo. or maybe bigger(he has a big head). I follow you AND I just linked your blog from my blog (http://onbeingagood.blogspot.com/). I know I should have done it a long time ago but it took me wanting to win the hat to do it! :) Great idea Bethie!
xo
OH the acorn hat it toooooo cute!!!! What a FUN giveaway!
oops-- that one above (Mrs. O) is me- AMY! I'm also a follower!
I think the hunter is the best fit for our sweet boy(s). I like the brown tones, but our winter coats all seem to be navy blue so maybe blues would be nice too!
Adorable!
We have a 2.5 year old and a 1 year old, both boys, so I think I'd like it for the 2.5 year old so that they'll both get to use it (eventually!)

PS- new follower of your blog & blogged about your giveaway/blog over here: http://vandervorts.blogspot.com/2009/10/diapers-to-diplomas-giveaway.html
Hi, I got your blogsite from my friend Trisha. All of the patterns are really cute. I think I like the bunny hat and light pink would be the perfect color. I have a baby girl due in January and would like size 0-3mo if possible. Thanks. Cute blog!
Beth, you're going to get addicted to contests, just so you can read all these comments! I'm also partial to the hunter, in those colors, and Jack is prob a size 18 mos. Is that a size?! Also, I have you on my Google Reader. Is that the same as following?! And, I ALREADY had you linked from my blog. Take that, Trish!
I'm a sucker for a giveaway!! I love, love your blog, Beth. How you have time to manage all of your blogs and your growing family baffles me! I love these hats. I'm sure you guys might not need a winter hat in AZ!
Beth, what a cute idea. I like the hunter. I'm not having my little girl until February, so she will need something to keep her ears warm! It would be so cute in pink and white! :)
oh, I forgot, my blog is http://theansellfamily.blogspot.com
These are adorable! I love the bunny ears. My baby girl is due on Christmas Day. We have plenty of pink already so I would choose the brown/white combo.
Oh Beth! You never cease to amaze me! I love all of the hats, but could totally see Jake sporting the Hunter pattern!
The "Simple Life" is a sweet cap that marries practicality with beauty. As to practicality, the side flaps will totally shield Caroline's ears -- not all hats have such complete coverage. As to beauty, the interwoven strands of muted evergreen and dusky azure will set off my baby's dark brown eyes. Caroline is almost one year old, and her head is 48 cm.
blogged about ya;)

I totally love the hunter! The colors you have are cute, but I also think it would be adorable in a navy blue and white or Gray and white. Zeke is 15 months, but he's about the size of an 18 month or 2 year old.. He has a big head and hands. What a great idea Beth!!! Great job Toni!!! You have an amazing knitting ability!
They are all really cute!
I like the Simple Life. I think shades of forest green and brown would be great, for a 3 yr old.
I like all of them! Where do I get one?? I just found your blog today from your cousin Shaloma's post of face book. :) I'll link your blog to mine now so I won't forget where it is. :) Seriously, I want to buy one of your precious hats for my little Benji (22 months)! ~ Ginny Hansen
Such cute sets.. it's hard to pick a favorite. Your sister really is talented. I LOVE the Hunter one, my little boy is 3 months old, so it would be really sweet.
I"m adding you to my list of FAVORITE blogs...
Thanks!
